Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born March 14th, 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. Biles was the first female gymnast in history to be awarded four gold medals in one Games. At Rio de Janeiro, she became the first female to ever win consecutive World All-around Championships (2013-15). Biles and their younger sibling Adria were taken in from Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles their grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston region), grew up there. Simone was first drawn to gymnastics when she was just six. Her coach Aimee Borman took Biles to Bannon's Gymnastix, where they went to a field trip. Biles won the floor and vault competitions at the 2011 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before going to the elite competition level in the year 2011. Biles was a dominant athlete in less than a year. Biles's consistent, exuberant nature and high degree of challenge in the four events she competed in -- vault uneven bars, balance beam floor exercise as well as floor exercises -- helped to set her out from the rest of the athletes.
