Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the age of 14. She began training in kickboxing boxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her debut as an amateur at the age of 18, at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was on a stunning three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent in the very first round. After that, she went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian before going on to face Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous decision, putting an ominous mark on her records in her amateur. Ladd recovered from the defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record to 8-1. Aspen began her career in 2015after signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta eleven saw Aspen take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta Fighting Championships 16: She won her next bout against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen used superior wrestling to beat McGill in third round TKO. Aspen then went on to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight but Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy by TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her final bout in the organization. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina, and ground-and - pounded her for a TKO victory in the second round. She remained dominant, and won another victory over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd took over Evinger's fight following the opening round. The winner also got the reward for her performance on the night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee, she fought Sijara-Eubanks for her first significant fight. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous victory, as well as her Fight of the Night award was awarded to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to end Ladd and her winning streak. in the 3rd round on UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. For a rematch she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight was unanimously decided in her favor.
