Amanda Tapping is an English-Canadian actress and director of films. Samantha Carter was her role in the American/Canadian television science-fiction program Stargate SG-1 Stargate Atlantis & Stargate Universe. Tapping is married for more than a decade in the relationship with Alan Kovacs. They live together in Vancouver British Columbia. Tapping is the co-director and producer of Dead Boy Detectives and The Flash Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Motherland, both of which have been cancelled. Amanda Tapping and her husband Alan have their first baby, Olivia in 2005. The couple missed the first five seasons of Season 9 due to it. Stargate: Atlantis producers confirmed in June 2007 that Rachel Luttrell's (Teyla Emagan) husband Loyd bateman was expecting the first of his children. Amber Arbucci, known for Head Case (2006) and We Want the Airwaves (2022) is a well-known actor.
