Annette Funicello, an American performer and actress. She is best remembered as being one of Mickey Mouse Club's original Mouseketeers. Her singing began when she was a teenager, and later became famous for her hit tracks "Tall Paul" and "Pineapple Princess." She was born in Utica, to Italian immigrants, Annette was a shy young girl. She wanted to pursue an entertainment industry and soon took the stage and began to dance. The mid-1950s saw her appeared in several 'Disney' sketches in the role of one of the "Mouseketeers" which earned her significant popularity. Annette shed her Disney image as an adult and began acting in adult roles. Most notable was her role in the role of the pioneer of the concept of a beach party. She appeared in such films like How to Stuff a Wild Bikini, Pajama Party, and"Beach Party.. Annette was recording songs from time to time. Annette had been diagnosed with MS in 1992. She died due to the condition in 2013.
